Restaurant Receptions & Post Ceremony Dinners
Yes, 99% of beach weddings go to a local restaurant for their reception dinner and libations.
Is It Easy To Get Around In The Sarasota Area?
Yes, at least we think it’s easy to get around. Streets and roads are laid out in an easy to follow pattern and unlike large cities the residents here will go out of their way to help you with directions. If you’re staying on one of our keys or islands you might not even need a car. I know guests who vacation on Siesta key near the village area where it’s just a short walk to everything and it’s basically “no car needed” for short stays.
Where Should We Stay?
I would recommend staying at one of the local beach resorts on Siesta key, the same with Lido key and Anna Maria Island. Your wedding should be as fun and relaxing as possible. It’s a one time event that will never happen again in life, so do it right!
Their are also plenty of resorts and hotels at all different price points available on the mainland and not far from all of those beautiful beaches.
