Siesta Key Beaches
Siesta Key and its world famous #1 Ranked Siesta Public Beach are a magnet for couples looking for that perfect beach wedding venue. Siesta key has a two other pretty fabulous beaches that are great ceremony locations too.
Crescent beach has the same beach sand as Siesta only it’s privately owned. Crescent beach is just south of Siesta public beach.
Turtle beach is another public beach located on the southern end of Siesta key, also great for weddings. It’s about 4 miles south of Siesta beach on Midnight Pass Road.
Any of these 3 beaches will make for a memorable beach wedding ceremony, you can’t pick a bad beach. Best Location: Siesta Public Beach
Siesta public beach, ranked as the #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach for 2011 and consistently ranked as one of the worlds best beaches. Siesta beach weddings are a favorite with wedding couples who travel here from all over just to be married on this crystal white sand.

Siesta’s sand was tested by the geological department at Harvard University and found to be 99% quartz crystal. The sand is cool to the touch even on the hottest of days. Amazing!

Crescent Beach
Just south of Siesta’s public beach is “Crescent” beach. Crescent beach has the same crystal white sand and turquoise waters like Siesta but it is a private beach area from the high water mark to the land.
Crescent beach is fronted by condominium projects and beach resorts who may (or not) allow beach weddings on “Their” section of Crescent beach-front. In other words, couples need to seek out beach resorts that also allow wedding ceremonies on their part of Crescent beach, unfortunately most don’t.
We know the few Crescent beach wedding resorts on Siesta key that allow for beach ceremonies. Referrals to resorts are available to all of our customers.

Turtle Beach
On the southern end of Siesta key is Turtle public beach. Turtle beach is relaxed, super laid-back and quiet. Parking is easy and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Many regulars ( folks who live here year round ) prefer Turtle beach because it’s less crowded and you can be sure to get a parking spot the first time around the lot.
Turtle beach is 2.8 miles south of Siesta key’s Stickney Point bridge and directly across the street from Turtles Restaurant, (Gee, I wonder where it got the name from).
Turtle public beach is also a popular place for a wedding ceremony.
